This position reports to
Manufacturing Unit Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and lead the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by leading programs and projects to improve and sustain local business performance.
The work model for the role is : onsite #LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products division in Jonesboro.
You will be mainly accountable for :
- Identifying and working to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing cases of conflicting priorities.
- Promoting and leading improvement programs and projects within your own area of responsibility, with a hands-on (Gemba) and problem-solving approach.
- Leading a systematic fact-based approach to identify and evaluate opportunities for future improvement within the local organization.
- Providing guidance and supporting towards disseminating a continuous improvement mindset and culture at all levels, activities, and functions to promote behavioral change for continuous performance improvement at local level.

Qualifications for the role
- Associate's degree in engineering, operations, business, or other related field with at least two years of work experience.
- Ability to work in a production environment managing relationships with multiple stakeholders including plant leadership, front-line leadership, and employees.
- Expertise in continuous improvement, LEAN, Six Sigma methodologies highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage key deliverables while focused on prioritizing business needs.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
