Shift : Monday-Friday; Full-time Job Location : Altamonte Springs, FL The role you’ll contribute : The Accounts Payable Imaging Specialist is responsible for opening and sorting mail, inspecting, scanning, and assembling invoices under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager.
Ensures documents remain intact in original order and preserves integrity of documents. Contacts vendors when invoices are unreadable to request new copies The value that you bring to the team : · Receives, opens, and sorts mail · Remove fasteners, staples, and / or performs other duties required for preparing documents for scanning · Scans individual paper invoices and stores them in a document repository application · Re-scans invoices as necessary · Requests new invoices from vendor if invoice is unreadable · Categorizes scanned images within imaging software · Assembles and distributes outgoing mail utilizing standard procedures · Review returned checks.
Monitors the retention and storage needs for invoices received · Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department · Available outside of normal business hours for occasional support need The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : · High School degree or equivalent degree · Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications : · Previous scanning or mailroom experience preferred · Two years of work experience in a business setting preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
The salary range reflects the anticipated base pay range for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on skills, experience and other relevant factors within this pay range.
