Southern Oregon Orthopedics is looking for an experienced FNP to work Mon-Fri part-time rounding on orthopedic patients in the hospital each morning. No call or weekends.
Responsibilities :
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families about preventive healthcare measures and treatment options
- Provide counseling on topics such as family planning, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications
Experience :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Proficient in providing patient care across the lifespan, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Experience in orthopedic care.
Skills :
- Excellent clinical assessment skills to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation
