Position : Director of Business Development (Industrial Products)

Position Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Director of Business Development to lead our client's initiatives in the industrial products manufacturing sector.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in the industrial manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth within the industrial products manufacturing sector.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by establishing and nurturing relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Maintain and expand a strong network of industry contacts to enhance strategic partnerships and business opportunities.
  • Lead the sales team in designing and executing sales strategies that exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the delivery of top-quality services to clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Oversee sales performance, providing detailed reports and insights to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in sales and business development, specifically within the industrial products manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and surpass sales targets.
  • In-depth understanding of the industrial products manufacturing industry and its key players.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a sales team.
  • Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client interactions and industry events.
