Job Details

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all cost accounting functions, including managing costs related to raw build material purchases, inventory, and labor.
• Autonomy to build out a new accounting department with proper processes, technologies and direction
• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, rate schedules, or services to understand their impact on costs.
• Compare factors affecting product or service prices and profitability.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate business results.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing information for financial audits.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses, including variance details.
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
• Evaluate accounting software and processes to ensure timely and accurate information.
• Serve as the main point of contact for cost reporting and processes.
• Help with the migration from SAGE ERP to IQMS

Needed :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in cost accounting, cost control, budgeting and cost analysis in a previous manufacturing environment and for build materials
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency with SAGE or similar ERP systems
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing for financial audits.
• Knowledge of cost control methods and cost analysis techniques.
• Certification in cost accounting is preferred but not required
