HVAC Technician - Yuma (4286)

Shearwater Systems, LLC and a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and Federal Contracting leader is looking for a HVAC Technician Lead to join our team in Yuma, AZ.

Responsibilities :

• Must have the ability to operate numerous equipment for the trade forklifts, scissor / man lifts, etc.
• Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents
• Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
• Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties

Requirements :

• US Citizenship
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Must be able to obtain / maintain a DoD Security Clearance
• Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
• Ability to use and knowledge of all tools and equipment that are used by the craft.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction drawings, schematics and diagrams as they pertain to the craft.
• Ability to perform work of the craft in a rapid and efficient manner under extreme conditions.
• Ability to perform work safely under hazardous conditions.
• Ability to trouble shoot and repair most complex problems.
• Must have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.
• Must be able speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Must have a well-mannered customer service attitude.
• Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.
• Must use down-time effectively to the benefit of test, self, and company.
• Must be punctual, responsible, and dependable.
• Must demonstrate motivation, initiative, and reliability.
• Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to adjust to new or changing instructions.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to follow instructions and company policy.
• Must be able to deliver quality products to the customer and be responsive to their needs.
• Must be safety and security conscious, complying with rules and policies.
• Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently.

Physical Requirements :

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests
• Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned
• Must be able to capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be capable of lifting lbs. unassisted

Preferred but not required :

• Any HVAC certified courses
• Experience with HVAC chillers / controls and circuit boards
