UT Regional One Physicians#is currently seeking a#Nurse Practitioner#to float between one or more of our#Primary Care#locations.
JOB SUMMARY : #Acts as the primary health care provider performing health care assessments, diagnosis, treatment, preventive health care, instructions and follow-up care to patients in the management of patient and family care following established protocols.
JOB REQUIREMENTS : EDUCATION : # Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program; Master#s preferred.# Additional training may be required for specialty areas.
Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adult and / or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
EXPERIENCE : # One (1) for more years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Primary Care setting preferred. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION : ##Nurse Practitioner certification or registry eligible required.
Current licensure as RN in State of Tennessee.# Eligible for Certificate of Fitness (Prescriptive privileges) in State of Tennessee required.
BLS required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : # Constant walking, standing; lifting and positioning patients / equipment; exposure to infectious agents.
Visual acuity is needed to access color changes.##Heavy Work#- Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 75 pounds of force frequently and / or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
