Position Description :
The Office of Inclusive Excellence at NJIT is seeking enthusiastic and motivated student employees (1 UNDERGRADUATE AND 1 GRADUATE) to join our team as Student Ambassdors.
This position is ideal for students passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion and interested in gaining hands-on experience in program development and event coordination.
The Project Coordinators will play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of Heritage and History Month programs.
Key Responsibilities : Assist in the development, planning, and execution of Heritage and History Month programs and events.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful program implementation.Research and gather relevant content, materials, and resources for program activities.
Help create promotional materials, including flyers, social media posts, and event signage.Support logistics for events, including coordinating with speakers, arranging venues, and managing registration for ANNAPI population at NJIT along with other heritage month celebrations.
Assist with data collection and analysis related to program effectiveness and participant feedback.Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining program records.

Current NJIT student with a strong interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion.Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.Prior experience in event planning or project coordination is a plus but not required.
