General Job Description :
Provides Business Operations Coordination for the Engineering Services and Technology Solutions teams. The position will support the business by working with the team leads for planning, procuring, provisioning, and maintenance of assets, software, tools, and facilities to meet the team general and operational needs.
The position will be responsible to work with the various ES and TS teams to analyze and determine support systems, assets, and tools needs based on capacity and performance.
Team tools and asset budgeting, procurement, administration, reporting, and license maintenance will be part of the Coordinator responsibilities.
The Coordinator will also work with the teams for other support assurance including facilities planning and support. The position will be required to work with Finance, Vendor Management, and Operations teams to assure budgeting, procurement and maintenance for all assets and tools availability and performance metrics are being achieved.
The position will also support other Operational efforts and assist ES and TS Administration and Financial Planning for staff support, planning, budgeting, onboarding, and management of all systems including RFT, Direct Contractor, Deployment Direct, GSC, and SOW systems.
The Business Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks :
- Asset Planning with ES & TS team, set the annual budget, get approvals from Finance
- Asset Procurement work with Vendor Management to identify and assure purchases (software, devices, tools, equipment, licenses, etc.)
- Asset Management by working with the teams to catalog and monitor all assets including department tool / lab licenses tracking and maintenance
- Setup and asset provisioning for Employees - New hire set-up
- Support for facilities planning and management including Seating maintenance, facilities requests, also working access requests, also working with General Affairs, IT, and Security
- Provides support in identifying application solutions to meet business needs, including tool templates configuration, project management procedure development and report development.
- Performs analysis and support of current Operational Tools and Systems
- Financial Planning for Operational Tools and Systems
- Responsible for coordinating and processing system access requests for resources.
- Helps create and documents reporting templates and processes.
- Support of ES and TS Administrators when needed. Familiar with all online request procedures including IT, software, computer, phone, and peripheral requests.
- Support forty (40) hours per week during mostly normal business hours (but available to address critical issues outside normal hour if required).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Associates degree or equivalent work experience (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
- 2+ years of technical experience in system administration, business support, asset planning and procurement
- Strong Technical Skills in data management systems, Workflow Management systems, and analysis
- Good analytical skills to compile information into useful reports and presentations.
- This position requires good oral and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in the areas of Microsoft Standard Office Suite (Excel Expertise)
- Experience in Power BI or Tableau a plus
- Knowledge and Experience with Confluence and Jira a plus
- Experience in Commercial Wireless Networks Operations is desired
- Experience with measuring process performance, tracking progress, and adherence including KPI reporting, trend analysis, and methods of improvement
- The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and process-minded leader, who is comfortable developing staffing, training, and operational plans
- This position requires excellent communication skills as well as presentation and reporting skills.
- Creative problem solving abilities and superb communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary for the successful candidate
- Self-directed individual with ability to manage other resources in a matrix environment across Engineering, Deployment, Support Organizations and Customer organizations.

- Technical Skills include the ability to utilize multiple applications and an aptitude to learn database management and report creation for status dashboards
- Analytical Skills include working with amounts of data : facts, figures, and number crunching. Ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions is required
- Communication Skills are required in the performance of presenting asset plans, procurement status, license distribution and other key status updates to Executive Management.
Also translating data into an understandable document. Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
- Critical Thinking skills are required to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on findings
- Math Skills are needed to estimate numerical data, create equations, and calculate complex data

Physical / Mental Demands and Working Conditions
Work is generally performed in an office environment
o Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PC's, printers, and office work areas
o Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 25% of work time, including prolonged periods of time
o The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds
Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical and including : time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress
o Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule
o Performs tasks with minimal direct supervision with a high level of visibility and responsibility to the overall success of the migration team
- Willing to work flexible hours, sometimes including nights or weekends
- Travel of up to 5% may be required to other vendor locations or Samsung Networks sites as required to discuss planned procurements and business strategies
