The Goat's Beard is looking for FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF with experience in a high-volume environment for our Manayunk team.
We are looking for kind, gracious people to join our team at the following positions :
Server, Host / Hostess and Utility.

HOST : Hourly : $12-$14

Hours : Part time, 2-3 days per week, 4-6 hours per shift, 1 weekend shift required
Description :
Hosting is the first face to greet guest! Tasks include greeting guests, taking reservations and take out orders, answering the phone, walking guests to their table, etc.
Training usually includes 2-3 shifts where you will learn all policies, table numbers, Resy (our reservation program) and Toast (our POS) with one of our lovely current hosts! Dress code for hosting is business casual.
Additionally, we require a RAMP certification to be completed after 30 days of being hired with which management is happy to provide any and all tools to make all of this possible and set you up for success!
UTILITY :
Hourly : $4.25 + tip out
Hours : Part time, 2-3 days per week, 6-8 hours per shift, 1 weekend shift required
Description :
Our utility position is a hybrid of a food runner, busser and bar back. You're the backbone of FOH! Tasks include things like running food, bringing dishes to the dishwasher, helping to restock the bar, etc.
With your hourly wage you will receive a tip out from all servers working on your shifts as well as the bartender / bartenders.
Additionally, we require a RAMP certification to be completed after 30 days of being hired with which management is happy to provide any and all tools to make all of this possible and set you up for success!
Shifts usually starts at 4 : 00PM during the week and either 10 : 00AM or 3 : 00PM during the weekend, making this perfect for an after school / day job position.
SERVER :
Hourly : $2.83 / hour + tips
Hours : Part time, 3 days a week, 6-8 hours per shift, at least one weekend shift required
Description :
Our servers are one of the most important faces of the restaurant! We pride ourselves on the fact that our team is very friendly and knowledgeable of not only all drinks and food at TGB but also policies and steps of service.
We expect the best and most polite experience possible for our new and reoccurring faces.
We do require every new server to work about 3-4 training shifts and a menu test prior to being scheduled on their own. Additionally, we require a RAMP certification to be completed after 30 days of being hired with which management is happy to provide any and all tools to make all of this possible and set you up for success!
Shifts usually start at 3 : 00PM or 5 : 00PM during the week and varies on the weekend.
We do have a lovely staff and we would love a new addition to join the team!
