Senior HVAC / Plumbing Mechanical Design Engineer, PE This is a permanent, full-time position at an award-winning firm with great salary, competitive benefits package, in a fun and friendly work environment! Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and calculate new and pre-existing mechanical systems including HVAC (wet / dry) and plumbing / piping,among other mechanical systems (including duct work, refrigeration, and controls).
- Create executable conceptual designs,engineering calculations, energy analysis, sections / equipment layouts
- Complete site surveys, document management, and assist with scheduling
- Attend estimating, pre-construction, BIM coordination,and site visit meetings.
- Coordinate with other GC and subtrades, &other engineers, as well as assist with trades
- Review spec & shop drawings with CAD andRevit software
Requirements
- 10+ years of HVAC / Plumbing Mechanical Design and Engineering experience
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering & PE License
- CAD & Revit
- BIM & Load-calc software knowledge (TraneTrace, Carrier HAP, Navisworks, BIM 360, Autodesk Glue, BlueBeam, eQuest, etc.)
- LEED accreditation
