My client is a local multidisciplinary civil engineering firm looking to add a Civil Engineer with water / wastewater and / or land development experience to their family-like team! They work on projects of all sizes and manage them in a professional and timely fashion.

Background Requirements :

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in water / wastewater and / or land development
  • 4+ years of practical experience in design of water and wastewater systems.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, clients, contractors and regulatory agencies.

Experience and expertise in the following areas is desired :

  • Generating construction plans for site arrangement, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater detention / retention, storm drainage, water and sewer systems, roadways, pump station, and force main design
  • Creating all necessary calculations, reports, and supplementary documents
  • Collaborate with a team to execute project design responsibilities, formulating comprehensive design blueprints for construction projects
  • Familiarity with Autocad, Carlson, HydroCAD, Hydraflow Storm Sewer and Hydrographs, WaterCad, Autoturn, and Microsoft Office suite is advantageous
