EBM is a leading professional janitorial and commercial cleaning company, headquartered in the Research Triangle Park of North Carolina.

We provide excellent cleaning services for office buildings, educational facilities, healthcare facilities, industrial facilities, and multi-family residential properties.

Since our establishment in 2004, EBM has surpassed its business plan for finance and growth. Currently EBM cleans over 10 million square feet nightly.

In 2014, EBM hit a major milestone by being selected as the janitorial service provider for a major banking institution. This expanded our presence across the border into South Carolina, where our excellence is allowing for more continued growth, into Richmond and Virginia Beach.

As a Site Supervisor you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking perfect. To work well in this role, you should have experience cleaning.

Janitorial Supervisor Responsibilities :

• Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met.
• Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.
• Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted.
• Assisting with the screening and hiring of new job applicants.
• Providing training and guidance to janitorial staff.
• Resolving conflicts between janitorial staff in an efficient manner.
• Attending meetings and in-service training sessions as required.
• Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.

Janitorial Supervisor Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proven experience working as a Janitorial Supervisor.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
• The ability to lift heavy equipment.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
