Graeter’s is a fun and exciting 4th generation family-owned company that is looking for a web professional candidate to help us achieve our goal of providing our guests, online and in our stores, with the best service and products available anywhere.

The Web Designer will be responsible for helping manage Graeter’s website when it comes to website layout, design, and improving or updating the already existing format.

They will always keep the customer in mind so the website is user friendly and easy to navigate, while driving Graeter’s business strategies forward by utilizing website traffic.

They will assist with the creation, management and production of digital design solutions for use on the website, social media graphics, email marketing and brand campaigns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Content Creation Work with marketing and e-commerce to conceptualize creative ideas that drive company goals and objectives.

• Review, analyze and incorporate key metrics and learnings into digital content
• Design online content including landing pages, emails, ad units, social media content and all other website elements to increase customer engagement
• Incorporating functionalities and features into the website as e-commerce continues to expand purchasing elements.
• Create variations of content for segmentation, A / B testing and global use.

Website Optimization Continuous improvement of current structure to meet maximum optimization.

• Optimize web graphics to ensure maximum download speed while maintaining high visual quality.
• Translate designs into HTML / CSS content that meets W3C standards.
• Provides ongoing site maintenance, updates, and support.
• Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Conceptualize original website design that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks as the website expands.
• Ability to design and solve complex UX and UI problems to ensure website integrity.
• Develop wireframes and workflows.
• Continuous education and communication of new design and technology trends.

Promotion Support Active participation in all promotions and large events when website support is identified as a strategic partner.

• Meets the e-commerce and marketing to understand the goals of promotional events, and helps the team visualize a general concept and framework to support the promotional goals.
• Drafts the initial website promotional concept wireframes with graphics and texts, and modifies to meet the teams expectations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

1) Experience : 3 5 years of related experience.

2) Education : Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience in graphic / web design.

3) Language : Must have exceptional verbal and writing skills.
