$50-60 per hour for hands-on hours based on licensure, education, and experience.

Position Overview :
The Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist & Regional Lead will perform a dual role, combining injury prevention services with a leadership function.
The candidate will deliver services such as workstation assessments, ergonomic training, and deep tissue therapy, while also overseeing contractor performance and providing mentorship within their designated region.
This position requires a seasoned professional who can build strong relationships with onsite teams, while also taking on a leadership role to ensure DORN’s standards are met across their region.
This role will have reporting responsibilities to both Operations and Customer Care.
Key Responsibilities :
Provider Responsibilities :
- Injury Prevention & Pain Relief :
- Conduct workstation analysis and ergonomic assessments.
- Provide one-on-one and group training on body mechanics and injury prevention.
- Utilize DORN’s proprietary deep tissue therapy techniques for pain relief and wellness.
- Offer self-care techniques to employees and develop customized conditioning exercises.
- Monitor and track improvement in biomechanical training scores.
- Develop and implement pre-shift / post-lunch conditioning and mobility exercises.
- Collaborate with site safety and management teams to identify and address safety issues.
- Provide detailed weekly and monthly reports to both DORN and onsite management teams.
Regional Oversight Responsibilities :
- Regional Oversight :
- Monitor contractor performance in assigned regions to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Track contractors’ hours worked and report findings to management.
- Ensure contractors meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and that regional targets are achieved.
- Point of Contact :
- Act as the primary liaison between contractors, site managers, and DORN’s internal team.
- Handle inquiries and disputes from contractors and provide guidance when necessary.
- Mentoring & Support :
- Provide mentoring and guidance to regional contractors, sharing best practices and coaching for success.
- Coordinate and organize training sessions to help contractors stay current on protocols and services.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting :
- Regularly evaluate contractor performance through KPIs, providing feedback to management.
- Prepare and deliver performance reports detailing regional performance, challenges, and solutions.
- Problem Solving & Collaboration :
- Proactively address challenges faced by contractors or site personnel, offering effective solutions.
- Work closely with site managers and stakeholders to foster a productive and safe work environment.
Qualifications :
- Valid state licensure or certification in one of the following :
- Physical Therapist (DPT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Athletic Trainer (AT)
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, or industrial ergonomics.
- Education and experience in movement or exercise science, kinesiology, or sports training / coaching.
- Willingness to learn and utilize DORN's proprietary deep tissue therapy techniques.
- Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
- Technical proficiency (basic computer skills, phone apps, Word, email, etc.)
- Active Liability Insurance.
- Up-to-date vaccinations (including Covid-19).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Degree or certification in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related fields (preferred).
