THIS JOB IS ONSITE IN IRVING, TX WITH 15-25% TRAVELKORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for 2 Key Account Managers : BA / BS degree, FDM or pet speciality, working w / retailers & distributors, pet industry a +We are seeking a Key Account Manager to develop and maintain relationships at the headquarter level with potential and existing national and regional retailers as well as distributors within the pet category.

Key Account Managers oversee major accounts who generate a substantial portion of sales to build and maintain long-lasting valuable customers.

This is an office-based position in Irving, TX. Reports to the Senior Regional Sales Manager. Duties and Responsibilities : Acts as single point of contact for customers or distributors, nurture existing business and drive volume by increasing distribution and customer partnershipsReview past and current purchase order history reports to project sales, and determine profitabilityParticipates in reviews of performance and market presentationsRoutinely engages with existing accounts to ensure customers" needs are met or exceededExtensive efforts focusing on increasing volumes of distributors and customersExecutes and implements strategies of the field and product features to match products to the need of customersProvide input for sales estimates for production and planningResolve customer complaints regarding product and salesImplements and executes promotional strategies to drive salesDetermines pricing, promotions, credit terms, and other bid specifications to customersCollaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotes and strategiesKeep an eye on competitors by observing trends, merchandising techniques, etcManages expenses to stay within budgeted guidelinesHunter mentalityAdheres to all Company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.

Represents the Company in a professional mannerPerform other additional duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, Marketing and Sales or related field 2 openings available!Key Account Manager FMD requires 3-5 years of experience in FMD / CPG sales calling on headquarters and retail stores.

Experience partnering with distributors and knowledge of basic distributor model principles Pet industry a plusKey Account Manager Pet Speciality requires 1-2 years of pet speciality sales calling on headquarters and retail stores.

Experience partnering with distributors and knowledge of basic distributor model principles Experience collaborating on product pricing / promotions (working with marketing)Experience assisting in inventory forecasting (based on sales / working with operations)Ability to leverage trends and dataCreate compelling Powerpoint sales presentationsExcellent customer service skills, demonstrates negotiation skillsOrganized, detail-oriented and manage multiple tasksExcellent time management skills and adaptable to a continually growing environmentCross functional team collaboration, internally and within accountsAdvance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareAptitude to travel daily or weekly or spend most of the day in vehicleAbility to commute to the office daily / travel to client sites (travel 15-25% of the time) Must hold unrestricted driver's license and driving record that has no more than three (3) violations in the last two (2) years;

and no more than one (1) 'at-fault' accident in the past three (3) yearsFor the Key Account Manager for FDM (which is a more senior role), compensation depends on experience but is typically $75-105K plus undefined bonus.

For the Key Account Manager for Pet Speciality (which is a less senior role), compensation depends on experience but is typically $60-80K plus undefined bonus.
