Essential Responsibilities :
- Partner with cross-functional teams to contribute ideas and solutions to meet business objectives..
- Manage and oversee all aspects of designated projects; ensure project objectives are accomplished within required time frames and budget.
Engage, coordinate & lead project management for Omnichannel marketing campaigns ensuring growth strategy deliverables are achieved
- Develop sales and marketing collateral to support product engagement and usage.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and functions to support multi-layered campaign execution and deliverables.
- Create and adhere to detailed schedules and deadlines for various stages of a project
- Manage all aspects of the value proposition development, including tracking industry trends, competitor's and customer experience metrics.
Ensure program profitability and penetration through continued enhancements.
- Write creative briefs and direct agencies on project execution.
- Ensure digital assets are in place and optimized. Push for cutting edge thinking and agenda.
- Monitor & manage performance of all key credit and marketing metrics vs. plan. Assist in the development of the Synchrony Financial planning cycle.
- Manage trade show and event deliverables
- Maintain communications calendar, adjust project priorities to meet launch dates.
- Establish and lead regular campaign portfolio review operating process with client marketing teams to drive execution progress, proactively address roadblocks, optimize marketing opportunities, and share best practices.
- Assist in the management and reconciliation of marketing budget, including requesting PO numbers and submitting invoices for payment
- Perform other duties and / or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree, or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma / GED and 7 years of marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industries
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in credit card or financial services
- Minimum of 3 year of experience with direct marketing channels
- Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience
- Proven organizational abilities to facilitate multi-tasking
Desired Characteristics :
- Utilize multiple project management tools, and familiarity with project management systems.
- Experience in a traffic or project management role.
- Experience with digital & direct channels direct mail, email, social, display, paid search, influencer marketing for web and mobile.
- Identify industry segments to test and implement programs to grow these segments.
- Outstanding communications, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement actionable plans to drive business results.
- Ability to work autonomously and work through ambiguity; communicate back progress and updates to stakeholders
