As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the company's software architecture and hardware infrastructure.

This includes detailing system design, data flow, API specifications, server configurations, and network architecture. You will own our technical user guides, manuals, and training materials for various stakeholders, ensuring the effective use of our systems.

Additionally, you will document best practices and workflow processes as you work closely with technical staff to ensure accuracy and clarity and provide training and support.

Primary Responsibilities

Identify, review, and organize existing documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency and create cross-functional visibility through an internal help center.

Create and maintain detailed documentation of the company's software architecture, including system design, data flow, API specifications, and integration points.

Document the company's hardware infrastructure, including server configurations, network architecture, storage solutions, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity plans.

Develop user guides, manuals, and training materials for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective use of our software and hardware systems.

Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and workflow processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.

Document the full lifecycle of the customer journey and the product's (ticket) journey.

Manage and organize documentation in a centralized repository, ensuring that it is easily accessible and secured with appropriate access controls.

Work closely with software engineers, system administrators, and other technical staff to gather information, verify documentation accuracy, and ensure clarity and completeness.

Provide training and support to business units and leadership on the interpretation and use of documentation.

Required Skills :

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong communication with the ability to convey technical topics in easy-to-understand business terms and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software architecture, and hardware infrastructure.

Familiarity with physical and cloud computing, virtualization, and modern IT infrastructure technologies.

Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Atlassian / JIRA, Git, Azure DevOps, Markdown, Scribe, and MS Office Suite and SharePoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
