Job Position : Designer / Graphic Designer / Prepress Designer
Location : Fontana, CA 92336
Pay Rate : $21.00 / hour.
Shift : M-F 7 : 00 AM-3 : 30 PM

Label Machine Pre-Press Designer
Daily manufacturing is seeking a Pre-Press Designer to join our team. This is an opportunity for you to grow a career in the versatile and growing printing industry.
Responsibilities :
- Set up label art files to pre-press requirements.
- Inspect all label artwork before and after runs to ensure quality and specs are correct.
- Basic Adobe illustrator and photoshop background
- Ability to train and use Phoenix design software (two-day training)
- Ability to train and use Prepress design software (one week training)
- Able to set up label art files with little or no supervision. Works with the Lead for approval.
- Ability to understand Job detailed Instructions, Proofs, and Samples.
- Work with Machine Press Led to confirm quality and standard of labels.
- Spot-checking throughout the production run, ensuring no changes or deviations from approved samples, Proofs, or Quality are occurring.
- Set-up dies in accordance with proper setup techniques.
- Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to : Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
- Adhere to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals.
Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Expectations :
- Minimum 2+ years of experience, dependable, willing to work, including overtime if required.
- 2+ years adobe design software experience.
- Must be organized and have the desire to perform at the highest level.
- The position requires a detail-oriented individual with good communication skills.
- Individuals must also be "Self-starters" and "Team players" to succeed.
- Maintain and organize, clean, and safe work area.
