Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager with a strong background in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales operations, particularly using ConnectWise, and will be well-versed with distributors such as Ingram Micro and D&H.
This role requires proficiency in deal registrations, quoting through ConnectWise Sell, and reporting functions for backend rebates using Cisco PXP and similar manufacturer tools.
The Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales efficiency, ensuring accurate reporting, and optimizing the sales processes. Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Operations Management : Oversee and manage the day-to-day sales operations within the MSP space, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- ConnectWise Expertise : Utilize ConnectWise for CRM, quoting (ConnectWise Sell), and deal registration, ensuring all sales activities are accurately tracked and managed.
- Distributor Relationships : Maintain strong working relationships with key distributors such as Ingram Micro and D&H, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Deal Registration and Quoting : Manage deal registration processes, ensuring all opportunities are properly registered and quoted through ConnectWise Sell.
- Rebate Management : Use Cisco PXP and other manufacturer tools to calculate and report backend rebates, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Sales Reporting : Generate and analyze sales reports to provide insights into performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Sales Forecasting : Develop and maintain sales forecasts, working closely with the sales team to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including finance, marketing, and product management, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Training and Support : Provide training and support to the sales team on the use of ConnectWise, quoting tools, and other sales operations processes.
- Compliance and Documentation : Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations within the MSP space.
- ConnectWise Proficiency : Extensive experience with ConnectWise CRM, ConnectWise Sell, and deal registration processes.
- Distributor Knowledge : Strong understanding of working with distributors like Ingram Micro and D&H.
- Rebate Tools : Proficient in using Cisco PXP and other manufacturer rebate calculation tools.
- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret sales reports.
- Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Problem-Solving : Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
