General Qualifications
We are seeking a lead Preschool Teacher to join our school! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children while offering emotional and caretaking support.
Responsibilities
- Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, potty-training and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
- Communicate with parents on their child's growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications
- Be a reliable individual arriving to work on-time regularly and willing to work a 5 day a week schedule
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred but not required.
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children and co-workers
- Positive and patient demeanor
