GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Acts as liaison between warehouse day to day operations and the client to ensure the client's processes and procedural requirements are executed.
Checks the receiving and shipment of client operations to the client’s satisfaction. Ensures clear and quickly communication between Project Coordinator and Warehouse operators, also verify that shipments are handled in accordance with established procedures, ISO operational compliance and specific client requests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the warehouse and operations teams.
- Maintain a consistently high level of client service to the assigned account as well as to coworkers.
- Monitor inventory and communicate any shortages or excesses to the appropriate teams.
- Assist in the coordination of receiving and shipping activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop a high level of understanding of the client’s requirements, preferred procedures, and our Company’s standards of service to maintain provision of SLAs.
- Provide support to operations team members by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations to implement and maintain client Standard Operating Procedures.
- Provide day-to-day contact with suppliers to address any possible operational issues.
- Provide exception reporting to manager and / or strategic account leader to ensure high level of service to client.
- Ensure services are meeting or exceeding client requirements and are following ISO procedures.
- Maintain and identify problems with client KPIs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for all employees, contractors, and clients.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, as well as outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy of client deliverables.
- Perform counts to support the cycle count process, store materials in proper inventory location, secures the cargo area in accordance with company requirements.
- Maintain the warehouse and cargo area in accordance with company housekeeping policy.
- Understand and adhere to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions.
- Off-Site supervision in operation for cargo receiving, stuffing containers, activities like cargo handling by third party sub-contractors.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen.
- Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
- Job may require the ability to lift shipments with or without use of special equipment.
- Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location.
- Regular attendance at work, on-time and as-scheduled is required for this position.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of the Freight Forwarding
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate (verbally and intuitively) effectively with both clients and internal personnel.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition; handling stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization.
- Career-oriented, hard-working, quick learner with excellent recall for past events / situations / numbers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. or international currency, weight, volume and distance measurements.
- Strong working knowledge of computers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
- Minimum 2 years industry experience preferred.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
