Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Water Resources Project Engineer in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities :
- Work with a team of engineers and technicians in the successful completion of water resources projects
- Design and prepare construction documents for stormwater management systems, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and erosion control plans
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
- Develop stormwater management designs and prepare reports for clients and regulatory agencies
- Coordinate with other design team members, subcontractors, and regulatory agency personnel
- Review and interpret applicable codes, regulations, and standards
- Perform project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Conduct engineering site visits and attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior staff members
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Maryland, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Water Resources Engineer
- Strong knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software
- Familiarity with stormwater management regulations and best practices
- Proficient in AutoCAD and / or Microstation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
