Cooke County is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Deputy County Clerk . This position plays a vital role in court document processing, public service, and election operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, record, and issue court documents
- Enter judgments and case data accurately into the computer system
- Calculate court costs according to case type and applicable statutes
- Accept payments and prepare daily financial reports
- Scan and manage official documents and records
- Assist the public with information requests and public access computers
- Answer phones related to criminal records and vital statistics
- Participate in all aspects of election duties, including working evenings on election days
