Description
Provides leadership for the organization's financial, planning, and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and employees by performing the following duties personally or through department managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, legal, accounting, long-range forecasting, retirement plans, capital spending, and insurance activities for the organization.
- Establishes procedures and IT functions necessary to ensure contribution to financial planning and analysis across the Company, including upgrading systems to drive efficiency and establishing metrics and processes to ensure continual improvement to the organization.
Driving the organization to continue to leverage technology to become a technology leader in the industry.
- Leads HR function necessary to support business needs.
- Performs treasurer activities such as custodian of funds, and assets of the organization.
- Prudently manages the Company’s balance sheet including cash flow, capital investments, and working capital.
- Appraises the organization's financial position and issues periodic (quarterly and monthly) financial reports.
- Provides support for the business with timely, accurate reporting and actionable information to guide business decisions.
- Coordinates tax and other compliance filings.
- Directs and analyzes all cost accounting procedures together with information necessary for accurate product margin analysis reports.
- Supports the direction, preparation, and issuance of reports by an independent auditing firm.
- Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and current and future operations.
- Analyzes operational issues impacting functional groups and the whole organization and determines their financial impact.
Delivers clearly defined financial and operational targets.
- Establishes and maintains contacts with Corporate Parent (Unisyn).
- Establishes product pricing for customers including long-term contract terms and ongoing administration.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Manages personnel, at both MK Services and Will-Mor Manufacturing, in accounting, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these areas. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. Minimum ten years of related experience. MBA and / or CPA preferred.
Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret complex documents and reports. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and all employees of the organization.
Ability to effectively communicate information in a clear, concise manner.
Mathematical Skills :
Ability to work with mathematical and financial analysis concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to understand the interrelationship of financial and operational data and its impact on the business.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a high volume of information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with people.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have an elevated level of proficiency with Microsoft products, specifically Excel.
Job Boss and E2 ERP experience are a plus.
