Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Special Needs Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Tinker Air Force Base.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing specialized care coordination services for our military community members with special needs.

Position : RN Special Needs Coordinator

Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive care coordination services for individuals with special needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, families, and community resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality and holistic care.
• Serve as an advocate for patients and families, addressing their unique needs and facilitating access to appropriate services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and interventions.
• Stay current with best practices, regulations, and guidelines related to special needs coordination.

Requirements :

• Graduation from an associate (ADN) or baccalaureate degree (BSN) program in nursing accredited by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
• Active, valid, current, and unrestricted license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) to practice nursing as a registered nurse in any US state / jurisdiction.
• Minimum of two years of registered nurse experience after graduation in a direct patient care clinical setting within the past 5 years.
• Preferred experience in a DoD Medical Facility within the last 5 years, though not mandatory.
• Certified or certification eligible by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse with 2 years full-time experience in mental health.
