The Research Grant Analyst provides pre- and post-award funds management for the organization's grants program. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of post-award, which includes : preparation / review of budgets, general ledger grant and expense analysis, submission of monthly, quarterly, and / or annual grant expense reports, assisting the finance department during year-end audit, Uniform Guidance audit, and other requirements as outlined in detail below.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting or a related area and 3 years of experience in grants & contracts or in a related area;
or equivalent 5 years of experience in grants & contracts or in a related area and High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), GED equivalent programs, and / or other Vocational degrees / certificates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and / or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred :
Clinical research experience.
