Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Controls Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Orange, CA. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in managing building automation and control system projects from initiation to completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project excellence, adherence to budget and timelines, and achieving high client satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee the execution of building automation and control system projects.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are surpassed.
- Manage project teams, encouraging a collaborative and productive environment to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Identify and address potential project risks, developing strategies to mitigate them and ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Maintain continuous, clear communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues promptly.
- Document all project activities comprehensively for accountability and compliance purposes.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the building automation or controls industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC controls, lighting controls, and security systems integration.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Orange, CA, with a stable work history and commitment to professional growth.
