Food Service Attendant at Providence Milwaukie Hospital (Full-time, Evening, Schedule : 12 : 00pm-8 : 30pm, working some weekends is required for this position)
Starting hourly rate is $15.99 / hr and increases based on your years of experience
$2,000 hiring / sign-on bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment
General summary for all Food and Nutrition Service Roles :
All Food Service staff must provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff.
The Service Excellence Standards of Behavior guidelines must be adhered to at all times.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of, and be compliant with, specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment.
Proper sanitation procedures and practices must be following to assure the cleanliness and sanitation of ware-washing, service-ware, equipment in the work area.
Adhere to County / State Health department, hospital, and department standards, policies and procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications :
Upon hire : National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
Preferred Qualifications :
- 1 year Experience in retail dining or patient dining with emphasis on customer service and food handling.
- 1 year Computer experience, patient interaction, and food service experience.
- Experience in health care facility or large food service operation.
- 1 year Experience in or Dietary kitchen using 'therapeutic diets'.
- 1 year Cashiering experience.
- 1 year Barista experience.
