Urology - Physician - Staten Island, NY

The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Urologist to join Mount Sinai Doctors Staten Island. *This multi-specialty practice is located at 1441 South Avenue in Staten Island, NY.

Staten Island is the southernmost of New York City's 5 boroughs. It is connected to Lower Manhattan via the Staten Island Ferry, which runs across New York Harbor.

With easy access to Brooklyn and Central New Jersey, Staten Island is a residential community, with many attractions for families, such as the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Zoo, Botanical Garden, and the Staten Island Children’s Museum.

The large patient community typically stays on Staten Island for their routine care. Mount Sinai Doctors Staten Island offers comprehensive care where patients can see a variety of specialties.

Additionally, the site has a comprehensive support team, including medical assistants.Ideal candidates will give excellent care to a diverse community of patients.

Mount Sinai is at the forefront of diagnosis and treatment for urinary tract and prostate disorders, kidney stones and cancer, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction, infertility, and pediatric urologic conditions.

Physicians will provide general Urological services in a multi-specialty practice, including office based procedures. *Position Description : *

• Serve a residential population and live in a neighborhood with great private and parochial school districts. Easy access to cultural activities on Staten Island and Manhattan
• Percentage of outpatient vs. inpatient : 80% office and 20% hospital
• Support staff : Medical assistants and anesthesiologist provides a RN during procedures
• Call schedule example : 1 in 5 or 6
• EMR system : Not currently on EMR, but plan to implement Epic
• No teaching, research, or administrative responsibilities
