This position will be responsible for providing on-call radiology services to the Campus Health Service (CHS) and the Athletic department's medical clinics.

Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide on-call radiology services as needed.
• Performs radiologic procedures as requested by CHS and the Athletic department's medical providers.
• Processes the radiographs and presents them for viewing by provider.
• Enters all demographics into Smart CR.
• Practice within clinical skill and competencies.
• Consult with other CHS health care providers as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES :

• Skill in using an electronic medical records system.
• Skill in routine diagnostic radiology procedures, no contrast studies, or special procedures.
• Possess knowledge of computers.
• Skill in operation of radiology equipment.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Able to make decisions and work on your own.

Minimum Qualifications

• Two-year training program in an approved school of radiology technology.
• At least 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensed by the State of Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ambulatory health clinic experience.
• Experience working in a college health setting.
