Duties & Responsibilities :

  • C ollects and assess family background information through interviews and document reviews.
  • Refers family reunification cases to partner agencies, actively participating in researching and recommending options.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders for unaccompanied children's services, developing best practices for family reunification.
  • Manages relationships with family members, sponsors, and stakeholders, maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Provides advanced advocacy, assessment, and case management services to individuals and families.
  • Participates in programmatic needs such as staff meetings, supervision, and transportation.
  • Completes necessary forms, case records, and reports accurately and promptly.
  • Develops and maintains p rofessional relationships with social service organizations and government agencies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of related experience.
  • Fluency in a second language.
  • Current Driver's License with no prior suspension.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (K / S / A) :

  • Fluent in a second language.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

Work Arrangement : This is an in-person role; remote work is not available.

Work Environment : Flexible scheduling and locations to meet the needs of participants and contractual obligations.

Physical Demands : A variety of physical demands are involved, with accommodation available for individuals with disabilities.
