Doc B’s Restaurant started in 2013, in downtown Chicago on the famed Michigan Avenue. Since then our one simple philosophy genuine hospitality helped pave the way for us to thrive in multiple markets like Illinois, Texas, Indiana, and Florida.
We currently have 9 beautiful locations with an expansion plan bringing our fresh, scratch kitchen and hospitality into multiple new cities! At Doc B’s we pride ourselves on perfecting the true art of caring for each guest and team member.

Kitchen Manager Job Description
Our Kitchen Managers are dedicated individuals that are motivated to being the very best. As a leader in the kitchen, you are expected to uphold all standards and guide your team to do the same.
Through a 12-to-16-week training program we will walk you through everything you’ll need to be successful in our operations.
We will show you how to hold the bar high for consistency in recipe adherence, cleanliness and sanitation, procurement responsibilities, food cost and quality control.
You will indulge in a hands-on experience with our culinary professionals as they walk you through each function and fully introduce you to our freezer-less, fresh kitchen concept.
You will learn everything from grilling the perfect filet, and preparing our homemade desserts and dressings, to our made from scratch pizza dough.
As a Doc B’s Kitchen Manager you will help ensure every plate is put together with the utmost integrity, and learn how to coach your team to properly execute this.
With a focus on continuous development and growth you and your team with work through seamless shifts and build perfect plates and wonderful guest experiences.
Kitchen Manager Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in a full kitchen
- Making employment decisions to support the culture and need of the business. Hiring, training and developing and maintaining retention
- Ability to work in high volume atmosphere
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is well maintained and used properly
- Fulfill and monitor all scheduling and labor needs
- Monitor and control food cost
- Enforce all company policies and expectations
