Job Title : Service Manager

Summary : Responsible for all Service and Maintenance operations and Personnel.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following :

  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Selection, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining of all Breakroom Technicians; communicating job expectations and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and review all Service Calls.
  • Schedule and oversee all preventative maintenance of all Breakroom Service equipment.
  • Review Monthly the Service call log for any repeat calls, issues, etc.
  • Oversee Maintenance Department area of warehouse, keeping clean and organized.
  • Order and maintain all parts needed for all Breakroom Service equipment.
  • Oversee all refurbishing of Breakroom Service equipment
  • Oversee all installs and removals of Breakroom Service equipment.
  • Oversee all building maintenance at Food Express Carolina locations.
  • Adherence to Building Expense, Maintenance Supervision & Technician Wages and Equipment Repair & Maintenance Expense budgets.

Supervisory Responsibilities : Service Technicians

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Clean Driving Record, Valid Driving License, Refrigeration license helpful

  • Be able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Attendance and Punctuality extremely important

Mental & Physical Demands : The mental and physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Frequent bending or reaching for objects overhead may require use of step stool, ladder, or cleaning equipment.
  • Working with moving mechanical parts and sharp objects. Lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Working around heat and steam for short periods of time, working around extreme cold for short periods of time.
  • Working in a moderately noisy environment.
  • Working with frequent interruptions and distractions.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company
