Clinincal Educator- Operating Room
The Nurse Educator provides education and direct expert clinical care to support consistent, evidence-based, outcome-focused, culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate care for a specific population of patients across all clinical areas at Mercy Medical Center.

- License Requirements :
- Current RN Licensure in the State of Maryland
- Certification Requirements :
- Specialty Certification preferred
- NSP Certification preferred
- BLS CPR
- Age Specific Care Provided For :

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Microsoft Word, Power Point, ExcelMicrosoft OutlookMeditech (if applicable to position)Epic (if applicable to position)Performance Manager / NetLearning
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following :
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Education and Work Experience :
- Must possess a degree in Nursing
- 5 years current clinical experience in select clinical area, preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, begin MSN within 2 years of hire
