As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for design and development of industry leading software applications and services for the building industry.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Using your full-stack developer skills, you will design and develop applications and services with a small scrum team that focuses on next generation design and development of management tools for the component manufacturers in the wood structure building ecosystem.
This developer will collaborate with other members of the product development team, quality assurance, and creative team to build industry leading applications (85%)
Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives as part of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle. (15%)
Desired Skills And Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology, information systems or software engineering course of study or relevant experience required
- 10+ years relevant software development experience required
- Ability to design and develop complex client server software
- Accomplished in developing high quality, clean, testable code
- Ability to diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
- Communicate well, both verbally and in writing, creating accurate documentation, sharing information and ideas with others
- Ability to build and sustain cooperative working relationships
- Ability to make sound technical decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term goals
- Ability to provide guidance and support to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- C#, ASP .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST, Web Services, T-SQL, WPF
- HTML5 / CSS, Java Script
- Web design and development
- Served as a lead or architect capacity within a large-scale organization
- Experience with automated unit testing patterns and tools
- JIRA / Confluence
- Agile development
- Git source control
- Azure development
- Building industry experience is a plus

WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, exempt position is remote with availability during core hours of 9am to 4pm MT.

$102,300 - $138,100 / year
Posted pay range is based upon national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.
