Position : Senior Technical Assistant- Master Electrician
Department : Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Community Services - LPAC
Hourly Range : $26.79 - $31.01

Job Summary :
The position operates under the supervision of the LPAC Stage Manager and is responsible for one or more of the following : designing / programming lighting for in-house, touring and rental artists as required, lighting support and setups for outdoor events as needed, and lighting equipment maintenance.
The position is highly visible and requires extensive contact with amateur and professional performing arts organizations, as well as the general public.

Example of Duties & Responsibilities :
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Familiarity with theatrical stage lighting design and lighting console programming
- ETC Sensor3 rack technical knowledge
- ETC Ion 2000, Expression family, Ion 2000, Full Boar 4, Gio@5 console programming
- ETC Gateway networking
- Light plot hangs and focus skills
- Setting stage plots, DMX cabling, and Edison / Powercon power feeds
- Counterweight rigging and fly rail operation skills
- Ability to operate aRFR lighting focus app
- Experience working in a roadhouse
- Personnel lift operation skills
- Experience in lighting design for dance, music, and theatre performances
- Knowledge of lighting maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with projection systems

Education and Experience :
- Any equivalent combination of three or more years of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for acceptable job performance.
- Currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade school majoring in Theatre Arts, Film, Television, or a related field, is desirable.
