They will work with CNCs and software that control CNCs
Typical day in the role
o Supporting production floor
o Keeping equipment running with maintenance team
o Gaging reports
o Making off sets
o Checking equipment
o Quality decision
o "Keep equipment running"
o Communication shift issues to next shift
o Technical communication & knowledge
o Be a subject matter expert on equipment, parts and quality
