Job Description

The Store Operations team is the Global Home Office (GHO) support for store associates and communications in Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie kids, Hollister and Gilly Hicks stores worldwide.

The Store Communications team is responsible for acting as a catalyst between the global field and all other GHO departments, delivering quality and effective communication tools and resources to drive increased field execution and engagement.

Responsibilities include creating, implementing, and evolving communications strategies working closely with various teams and functions to ensure our global associates, management, and leadership have the content, information, and knowledge they need, when they need it.

This position assists in the accurate and streamlined delivery of store communication to store associates. This role is responsible for the organization and ongoing evolution of store communication delivery and the ability for store associates to execute business critical activities in a timely and effective manner.

This role executes this through our digital Communication Platform(s) ensuring applicable reporting, documents and tasks get to the right groups at the right time.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance information flow and engage store associates
  • Own and maintain the internal stores calendar, ensuring accurate scheduling of tasks and communications, and effective deadline management
  • Maintain and update files on the communication platform(s) to ensure current and relevant documents are organized for easy access
  • Manage target audience groups within the communication platform(s) to ensure precise communication distribution
  • Coordinate task distribution to stores through the platform(s), ensuring timely execution and monitoring progress
  • Organize and conduct surveys for feedback collection from stores
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze survey data and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Monitor and report on communication initiative effectiveness, recommending adjustments as needed
  • Provide training and guidance to store associates on communication tools and platforms
  • Stay informed about communication and retail operations best practices to suggest innovative approaches

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced, ever changing, and collaborative team environment
  • Ability to track and react quickly to details from multiple partners daily
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, self-starter and detail-oriented
  • Intermediate computer skills within Adobe and Microsoft Office are preferred
  • Prior store and / or retail experience is preferred
