Overview & Basic PM Experience :
Project Manager with Estimating / Preconstruction experience in Nashville for a local (Brentwood / Franklin) General Contractor.
The selected candidate will have 5-8+ years of experience managing multifamily construction projects (ground up / new) and familiar with all phases of preconstruction through buy-out and construction execution to c / o.
Familiar with Timberline, Procore, Bluebeam or other similar estimating software system
Local Nashville (Middle-Tn) relationships and exposure to dealing with New Multifamily developments.
5+ years or more of New Mid-Rise / Garden-Style or similar Class A construction experience in Multifamily developments
4 year college degree or equivalent experience in construction management (or similar) is preferred.
Currently Living in local Nashville / Brentwood / Franklin TN area
Benefits, 401(k) and other incentive offered to selected candidate.
Residential Homebuilding construction experience (only) will not be considered as equivalent or valid.
Position Summary
Manages all Project operations including the client relationship, project staff and any vendors / suppliers & subcontractors.
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Multifamily Construction Experience (New Projects $5M - $40+MM)
- Analytical Budgeting Estimating skills
- Scheduling Expertise
- Communication skills
- Negotiating Contracts experience
- Ability to work well with a small team
- Impeccable organizational skills
- Relationship building experience with clients / subs / vendors-suppliers around the area
Education / Experience
- Construction Management or Business (Bachelor’s) degree Required .
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in the commercial & multifamily new construction industry
- 5+ years of Project Management construction experience required in multifamily construction industry (Large Apartment construction industry experience specifically ).
Compensation Summary :
$125-135k salary Plus Bonus Plus Benefits (see posting) along with allowances for telephone, automobile & fuel. Insurance & PTO offered in addition to compensation.
