As the Vice President of Physician Practices, you will be at the helm of strategic planning, clinical governance, and operational excellence for this integrated, multi-specialty physician group.

This role demands a seasoned healthcare executive with acute care hospital experience and a proven track record of success in physician practice management as you will be overseeing 25 locations and 30 departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the growth and efficiency of physician practices, ensuring alignment with the hospital's mission and goals.
  • Operational Oversight : Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of clinical care, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Management : Manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and drive financial performance to support sustainable growth.
  • Physician Engagement : Foster strong relationships with physician leaders, promoting collaboration and engagement to enhance clinical outcomes and practice efficiency.
  • Quality Improvement : Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to elevate patient care standards and operational practices.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.

Requirements

  • Education : Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required.
  • Experience : Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Leadership Skills : Proven ability to motivate and lead diverse teams, with exceptional strategic planning and decision-making skills.
  • Communication : Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for cultivating and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Financial Acumen : Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance optimization.
  • Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
