Talent Acquisition - VP

We are in search of a strategic and driven recruiter who will manage and execute full life cycle recruiting and enhance Capstone's hiring profile.

You will partner with HR and hiring managers to gain an understanding of organizational goals and needs and execute recruitment efforts across multiple segments.

In this role, you will :

  • Lead the interview process from end-to end, to include sourcing, interviewing, coordination, scheduling, and follow-up for feedback
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline to meet the firm's growing needs
  • Target key talent pools, including professionals from policy backgrounds, government agencies, trade associations, Capitol Hill and consulting firms.

Build and expand network within these sectors to expand access to candidates

  • Ensure Job Descriptions are current and accurately reflect business needs
  • Develop and proactively maintain relationships with local colleges, career centers, and participate in associated events
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop ideal candidate profiles and actively target those candidates on LinkedIn and other platforms
  • Partner with the HR team to implement data-driven recruitment practices, utilizing metrics and analytics to track and improve the hiring process
  • Work to enhance Capstone's employer brand to attract top-tier talent through innovative recruitment and branding initiatives, to include promotions on LinkedIn

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess the following attributes :

  • Experience recruiting in consulting or professional services industries; Solid understanding of the policy consulting industry and the unique talent needs of a policy consulting firm.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse and customer relationship management tools like Yello, Handshake and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience and network in recruiting from sectors such as public policy, government, Capitol Hill, trade associations and consulting
  • Proven track record for high-level positions in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating collaboration across diverse communities
  • Proficiency in effective task organization and prioritization
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently, exercising flexibility and effective time management

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least five years of experience in full life cycle recruitment
  • Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident, eligible to work without sponsorship

Capstone offers a competitive benefits package, including health, vision, dental insurance, paid vacation, travel stipend and 401(k).

The expected compensation for this role will be $135,000-$170,000 per annum with eligibility in Capstone's annual bonus pool.

This position is based in our Washington, DC office. Capstone is in-person Monday through Thursday with flexible work from home Fridays.
