We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and innovative Principal Scientist with several years of academic or industry experience post-Ph.
D. to lead vaccine and immunological therapies and technologies in the infectious disease space. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in immunology with emphasis on B and T cell biology, experience in infectious disease models, and be able to tackle complex research scenarios.
In this role you will independently conduct and lead cross-collaborative research projects, develop novel vaccine technologies and approaches, and assess efficacy of candidate vaccines and therapeutic molecules.
A typical day in the life of a Principal Scientist on this team may include the following :
- Drive research projects forward through collaborative involvement or through mentoring of direct reports
- Perform various immunological assays to interrogate B and T cell immunity (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISPOTs, cell-kill assays, ELISAs, ect...)
- Independently design, conduct, analyze in vitro and in vivo experiments
- Routinely present findings in a variety of scientific settings within and across departments
- Establish new vaccination methods and technology to drive desired B cell and antibody immunity
- Evaluate candidate vaccines or novel vaccine platforms in various infectious diseases models

This role requires a Ph.D. in immunology, infectious disease, virology or related field with a strong record of innovation and publication and 5+ years of experience.
Proven expertise in B cell biology with experience with in vitro and in vivo experiments is required.

$124,200.00 - $202,800.00
