Product Owner at B2B SaaS Silicon Valley Startup (Stanford-backed)

What you’ll be doing :
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Product Owner who manages the full scope of our B2B SaaS tool, guiding it from MVP to a fully matured product.
The product has the following components in the web-based portal (front) :
- Self-serve onboarding
- Connection to Git providers (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket)
- Contributors management (ie. engineers in the customer org) & permissions management (ie. users accessing the portal)
- Data visualization (charts and graphs) showing software engineering productivity insights for management-level audiences
What are the role requirements?
- Take full ownership in building and improving the product, iteratively evolving it from MVP to a more mature product & beyond
- Define, implement, and update product management best practices by creating new processes instead of depending on existing ones
- Improve & create new visualizations for the data that effectively present information, understanding the different users (C-level vs Managers / Team Leads) and their requirements / preferences
- Serve as the user advocate in product, collecting direct feedback from customers to ensure their needs and preferences are reflected in our solution
- Ensure that our products are built to handle growth and deliver optimal performance
- Create structured & prioritized specs for each initiative that later get turned into tickets
- Develop a B2B product that appeals to both technical and business audiences
What you’ll need : Must-haves :
Must-haves :
- 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or a similar position
- Startup DNA : This isn’t a boring corporate job. We want to change the world of software engineering and have all the ingredients to do it (tech, team, and go-to-market)
- Hustler : available during California-friendly hours (2-3 days / week until 10pm GMT+3)
- Independent, self-driven, and able to wear many hats
- Deep understanding of data visualization techniques to communicate insights
- Ability to effectively work and communicate in a remote cross-functional team
- Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Passion for product excellence and continuous improvement
- Alignment with our mission : to make the software engineering world more transparent, efficient, and meritocratic
Nice-to-haves :
- Expertise with multi-tenant SaaS, ideally for Enterprise user segments
- Strong understanding of software engineering development practices
- Expertise in structuring information products, including daily process design, object management, operational functionalities, visual representations, and system state transitions
