The Behavioral Services Director oversees the ABA department's daily workflow, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of services.
This role is critical in meeting department financial and productivity goals, participating in recruitment and onboarding processes, and contributing to the organization's strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities :
Department Oversight : Manage and oversee daily departmental operations.
Recruitment and Onboarding : Participate in hiring processes and facilitate new employee onboarding.
Financial Management : Ensure financial targets are met, managing department budgets and productivity goals.
Employee Management : Oversee and support staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans for the department, aligning with the organization's long-term vision.
Problem Solving : Identify and resolve issues promptly, anticipating needs and planning ahead.
Coordination and Support : Plan and coordinate events, create communication materials and provide general support to the department.
Requirements :
A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a Therapy-related field is required.
A master’s degree is preferred.
OR at least five years of clinical therapy experience or management-related experience and / or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Participation in quarterly Leadership meetings, some travel is required.
Prior management experience is required.
