Position Overview :

Our client is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their technical team and drive the development of their groundbreaking robotics technology.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of translating innovative ideas into scalable and commercially successful products.

As the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their technology roadmap, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving the execution of our ambitious vision.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.

Lead the research and development efforts to create disruptive robotics solutions that address market needs and opportunities.

Product Development : Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to commercialization. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and product management to deliver high-quality, innovative products on time and within budget.

Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive technical excellence and innovation.

Partnerships and Collaborations : Identify strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities to accelerate technology development, enhance capabilities, and expand market reach.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and research institutions.

Technology Trends and Innovation : Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Evaluate new technologies and innovation opportunities to maintain our competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing robotics technology development and deployment.

Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to navigate regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
• Proven track record of leadership and success in technology development, preferably in the robotics or automation industry.
• Extensive experience in software and hardware development, robotics systems, and mechatronics.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate technical vision into actionable plans and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and influence key stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a drive to push the boundaries of technology.
• Experience in startup environments or fast-paced, high-growth companies is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards in the robotics industry is a plus.
