Description

Your role :

This Director role is part of our broader institutional sales effort and will be responsible for driving new business, maintaining existing business and serving as the primary liaison for institutional clients and prospects.

This individual will manage an institutional sales territory in the Western region of the U.S. focusing on pension, retirement, and not-for-profit asset pools of greater than $2 billion.

This individual will need to work collaboratively with other institutional colleagues to bring the most appropriate public and private market products and services to our client audience.

You will be responsible for :

  • Lead business development and relationship management efforts for institutional clients within your coverage territory in collaboration with institutional colleagues in Consultant Relations, Client Service and Investments as well as other Invesco business units
  • Proactively build our understanding of each asset owner’s organizational structure, decision- making authority, and investment priorities
  • Execute on sales plans for accounts in your territory by continuously evaluating client needs, designing an organized and efficient approach to relationship management, and providing value-added services
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with asset owners in your territory
  • Coordinate client requests, promptly and accurately

The experience you bring :

  • 7+ years of institutional sales experience
  • Client relationship management experience
  • Financial services / investment management experience with deep knowledge of institutional ecosystem, sponsors, consultants, and competitors
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies and their relevance across various plan and client types
  • Exceptional teammate, open-minded, flexible, and willing to listen to other people’s opinions
  • Ability to navigate multiple work streams and manage competing priorities
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63

This position is Remote and the Invesco workplace model will not apply

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
