Position Information
The Department of Technology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) is currently accepting resumes for Adjunct faculty positions in the Master of Cyber Security program.
Resumes will be reviewed as needed for each semester. Responsibilities Develop and teach advanced courses in Cyber Security.
Candidates must be willing to work in a BlackBoard learning management system environment. All courses must adhere to the Quality Matters rubric and be of sufficient rigor to warrant graduate level credit.
Candidates must be willing to develop synchronous distance teaching components in their courses and be willing to teach live in time blocks assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned. Classification 25- Education, Training, and Library Occupations Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related area with industry awarded certifications and / or experience is required, Preferred Qualifications A doctorate in Computer Science or a closely related area with industry awarded certifications and / or experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Evidence of strong communication to include written communication, student focus, and excellent presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty and staff in the Department and University and with students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
