Facilities Engineer Job Description

Salary : Up to $65, depending on experience

General Description :

We are seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to join our growing and dynamic team responsible for the oversight of the maintenance and operations of our commercial and residential properties in our Midwest region.

We are looking for the right professional to help set goals and objectives, coordinate with staff, manage budgets and provide progress reports to ownership.

The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of the operations and leasing of commercial and residential real estate with a demonstrative track record of managing multiple properties.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Skills :

Coordinate with internal and third-party property managers, construction managers and leasing agents to ensure successful implementation of business strategies and plans

Develop, present, and execute annual property operating and capital budgets for each asset

Manage takeover of newly acquired real estate assets, ensuring smooth and successful transition into the portfolio

Assist with disposition of assets by providing information to potential buyers and ensuring a smooth transition to new ownership

Manage and review financial reporting of each property, both from the standpoint of budgeted goals and for accuracy

Responsible for onsite marketing and advertising efforts with staff and listing agents

Visit properties regularly and meet with onsite teams and perform physical inspections of assets

Responsible for personnel management, annual reviews, staffing plans and human resource strategies.

Acquire local expertise in each market where properties are held, with a focus on knowing competitive assets, the development pipeline and other economic drivers which could impact asset performance

Develop and maintain capital improvement planning for each property under management

Assist, develop and implement lease up strategies for future projects

Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations as well as compliance with all Fair Housing Regulations

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree preferred, CAM, CAPS or CPM designations desired

Minimum of five years of multi-site or regional property management experience of both residential and commercial real estate

Working knowledge of property management software systems, Yardi experience preferred

Ability to travel as needed

Highly self-motivated, confident and driven with proven ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment
