Sterile Processing Technician Supervisor ASAP Start. Certified Sterile processing Tech Supervisor needs to have at least 5 Years Experience! Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and policies, human resource management skills.

Sterile Technician must have Prior experience in CSP supervisory position or comparable experience. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Knowledge of industry standards from but not limited to AORN, AAMI, CDC, The Joint Commission, CMS, Title 22.

Responsibilities for Sterile Tech Lead :

Under the direction of (CSP) Manager, the Central Sterile Processing Supervisor monitors daily operations in the CSP department, ensuring technicians are trained in and abide by all departmental policies and procedures.

Participates with CSP Manager in planning for future needs and project implementation related to personnel, program development, instrument and equipment, interdepartmental relationships, and department goals.

Performs the duties of an CSP Technician as required. Assumes responsibilities for department as a whole in the absence of the CSP Manager.

Duties for Sterile Tech Supervisor :

• Assists Manager with hiring, staffing, equipment, instrument, and supply resources to ensure effective and efficient department workflow between and within shifts.
• Monitors productivity and quality of product of individuals and of shifts utilizing proactive observational and hand-on approaches.

Monitors timecards and attendance of assigned employees.

• Engaged in all aspects of the department including but not limited to cleaning, decontamination, assembling and sterilization of instruments, and related items.
• Monitors employees' compliance with job duties and expectations. Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to assigned staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations and corrective actions according to established legal, hospital, and department standards.

Continuously monitors and communicates with employees regarding these expectations.

Pay / Benefits / Hours for Sterile Tech :

• Monday - Friday Must have (Rotating weekends & Holiday's)
• Start Date ASAP!
• 8hr shifts 11PM - 7 : 30AM
• BLS / CPR card from the American Heart Association
• Must be Certified with HSPA or CBSPD
• Must have Covid Vaccine
• Cannot need vacation time needed through the Holidays
• $43 Local Rate & $53 Travel rate
• Weekly pay, 401K, Health Insurance
• 5 months with Temp to hire opportunity
